Global Smart Solar Valley, Chungcheongbuk-do
Chungcheongbuk-do is located in the center of Korea, serving as the center of various industries. In 2011, it was designated as Korea’s only special solar energy zone and various green energy-related infrastructures were established. Based on this, it is contributing to revitalizing the local economy and enhancing the national competitiveness by clustering the value chain of the solar industry and fostering Chungcheongbuk-do into Asia’s Solar Valley through specialized development such as technical support, R&D, and manpower development.
